…from the Atelier Heldwein

Unique pieces have been created by master craftsmen in the Heldwein Vienna jeweller’s studio since 1902 – today already in the fourth generation under the creative and technical direction of Anton Heldwein.
Jewellery from the atelier is either made according to historical designs from the house archives or according to new sketches by Anton Heldwein himself.
Atelier Heldwein combines classic aesthetics and traditional Viennese craftsmanship with modern flair, designed for a sophisticated contemporary lifestyle, from casual everyday elegance to elegant evening wear.

In Vienna, you enchant a woman with a kiss on the hand – and a diamond. The classic way to do this is to consult a jeweller you trust. Anton Heldwein is happy to put his dual expertise as a master goldsmith and recognised gemmologist (gemstone expert, expert witness) at the service of his customers.

“For me, a jeweller is first and foremost a confidant,” says goldsmith Anton Heldwein, who continues the philosophy of his father and grandfather and draws inspiration for the jewellery from nature, from the stones themselves. It is not the stones that subordinate themselves to the design, but rather the design that should optimally set off the selected stones. As a gemologist, values such as honesty and intuition come into play: “I really love identifying stones. It is extremely exciting and always fascinating to determine which stone it actually is from the variety of possibilities.”

Preserving the old and creating the new
Deeply rooted in the Heldwein family tradition and committed to classic Viennese craftsmanship, Anton Heldwein describes his premise as follows: “We want to draw from tradition and create something new from it – (preserving) values and realising visions.”
