This year, a magnificent diamond sparkles in the midst of the mother-of-pearl inlay.

Cufflinks by Juwelier Heldwein for the Young Men’s Committee of the Vienna Opera Ball 2023

Once a year, the Vienna State Opera is transformed into the most beautiful and elegant ballroom in the world. A big dream comes true for selected couples as they can officially open this unique ball. When the elegant young women and young men committee of the 65th Vienna Opera Ball dances the opening polonaise on February 16, 2023, after a two-year break due to the pandemic, the male debutants will once again be happy about their personal gift.

Cufflinks from a traditional Viennese jeweler since 2012

“We have been a loyal partner of the Vienna Opera Ball for 10 years now and are very proud to be able to provide the young gentlemen of the opening committee with handmade cufflinks from our company. These cufflinks should accompany the young gentlemen on this lavish ball night and afterwards be a nice reminder of this glamorous celebration. I myself opened this traditional ball more than 40 years ago. My two sons Dominik and Olivier were there as debutants in 2016,” says jeweler Anton Heldwein.

In 2019, the new design inspired by the silhouette of the Vienna State Opera was presented for the first time. The cufflinks are made of high-quality 925 sterling silver and have the engraving “Heldwein – Opernball”. In the middle of the white shimmering mother-of-pearl inlay sparkles this year a magnificent brilliant-cut diamond, which will go perfectly with the dresses of the young women’s committee. The cufflinks were designed in the in-house studio and are also available in a small, limited edition in our shop at Wiener Graben.
