Since 2012: cufflinks by Juwelier Heldwein Vienna
Once a year, Wiener Staatsoper turns into the world’s most beautiful and elegant ball room for the Vienna Opera Ball: a glamorous gala of unique splendour and allure, the ball of all balls, much-copied around the world.
For the 8th time, Juwelier Heldwein will provide special cufflinks for the young men's committee dancing the first polonaise on this unique ballroom floor.
The design of the cufflinks was inspired by the silhoutte of the opera house, They are made of sterling silver, shimmering white mother-of-pearl and a blue sapphire. A limited edition of these cufflinks is also available at Juwelier Heldwein Vienna.
Anton Heldwein presented the first cufflinks to Dominique Meyer (Direktor Wiener Staatsoper), to Alfons Haider, Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz and Karl Hohenlohe (hosts and presenter of the Vienna Opera Ball).
