Pomellato presents new Sabbia jewels, each adorned with the distinctive irregular diamond pavé characteristic of the collection. These striking new jewels display Pomellato’s superior skills in diamond setting as well as its rich heritage of chain making. Minimalist in its style yet complex to produce, the new Sabbia designs bring an elegant informality to the most precious jewels.

Sabbia, which means ‘sand’ in Italian, refers to the random layout of diamonds in an organic pattern. Reminiscent of sunlight falling on sand, this unconventional diamond setting creates an intriguing play of light and shadows. The technique requires the utmost skill of Pomellato’s master gemsetters and goldsmiths to achieve this asymmetrical layout with a perfectly smooth finish. A unique combination of varied sizes and colours of diamonds makes each jewel a miniature jigsaw puzzle.

Star of the collection is the necklace that embodies Pomellato’s confident approach to even the most precious jewels. Despite its high value and impeccable craftsmanship, the six-chain necklace with a pendant set with white and brown diamonds and a T-bar clasp is easy to wear either day or night. Smooth on the skin and versatile, the necklace can be doubled around the neck or worn long, thanks to the sliding pendant.

The earrings feature a pavé of brown diamonds set into a disc surrounded by a halo of white diamonds. Five delicate gold chains with diamond tips are suspended from each disc for added night-time glamour.

Subtle yet unquestionably opulent, the new Sabbia jewels are the epitome of Pomellato’s bold approach to luxury that empowers women to wear valuable diamond jewels with a sophisticated twist.
